iSatori Eat Smart Chocolate Chocolate Chip Whey Protein Review

When I saw the flavor “Chocolate Chocolate Chip”, I couldn’t wait to try it. The only thing I hoped was that it actually tasted like the name. Lets find out if it did…

The macros are good on this. Low in sugar/sat fat and high in protein. A nice mixture of isolate (fast) and casein (slow) digesting proteins. Also has digestive enzymes/probiotics and BCAAs (4g per serving).

Another thing I like is that there is:

  • No fructose
  • No aspartame
  • No corn syrups
  • No hydrogenated oils

Although I believe everything is somewhat “fine” in moderation – I do tend to stay away from most of the above (or try to).

As you would expect, Chocolate Chocolate Chip smells like chocolate chips. I mixed the samples I had with water once and then milk the next time. I can’t really explain in words how delicious this flavor is. Not only does it taste exactly like you’d expect but there are little chocolate chips in the actual powder. This is easily one of the BEST tasting flavors I’ve ever had. So, so, so, so (continued on) good.

Overall:

  • Taste: 10+/10 (AMAZING)
  • Cost: 7/10 (About $1/serving…so semi-high for a whey but offers more than normal wheys)
  • Healthiness: 8/10 (High in protein/fiber while being low in fat/sugars)

Also I feel I should state this in my reviews: I have no issue giving a company a bad review even if they do send me a product to try for free – they are NOT paying me for a positive review, these reviews all come from me with my complete honesty.
