Recipe #12 Protein Brownies

Submitted by on January 23, 2012 – 9:55 pmNo Comment

What you need:

  • 2 cups protein (I used 176 grams of Syntha 6 Vanilla Ice Cream)
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 cups milk + 3/4 cup water (or almond milk which is what I used)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon of Peanut butter
  • Cinnamon (optional)

The making process:

  1. Combine all of the ingredients together. You can either use a blender (which I prefer since protein powder tends to be hard to blend) or mix furiously with a whisk until there are no chunks left
  2. Transfer the mixed ingredients to a glass dish (spray whatever non-stick product you use into the dish). Sprinkle cinnamon on top (optional). Use a knife to “cut” the cinnamon into the mix.
  3. Bake on 350 for 45 min. Time may vary so check it when you think they may be done
  4. Cut into 8 brownies
  5. Put them into the fridge (they taste the best this way in my opinion)

USE A PROTEIN POWDER THAT TASTES GOOD. YOU CAN USE ANY FLAVOR TO MAKE THESE

Remember: You may have to play with the cooking time. Also, if they are too “moist”, use more protein or less milk/water in the next batch.
